About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Handbjerg Marina is a marina in the Limfjord near Vinderup, with 200 berths spread across piers A, B, C and E, where Pier E has room for boats up to 55 feet.
As a visiting sailor you'll find the available berths marked with green 'FRI' signs. With the harbour's free-port scheme, an overnight stay including water costs from 40 DKK for a boat of 0-19 feet, while visitors without the scheme pay from 110 DKK; electricity costs 40 DKK per day. There is a slipway with launching for 60 DKK per day, and a mast crane can be used by visiting sailors for 330 DKK per lift.
The marina offers toilets and showers (showers cost 12 DKK per 5 min) with a personal access code, a washing machine, fresh water and electricity on the piers, a waste station, and pump-out facilities at the motorhome area. You can refuel with petrol and diesel - the only place in the western Limfjord offering petrol. There's bike rental through the equipment bank, a nature playground and barefoot path, plus Restaurant Pavillonen and Cafe Isbåden.
Close to the marina lies the attractive Badeø with one of the Limfjord's best child-friendly beaches, and the café terrace offers views over Venø Bugt. Berth at one of the green 'FRI' spots, grab an ice cream at Cafe Isbåden, and head straight down to Badeø for a swim.
