Harlinger Watersportvereniging runs a club marina near the centre of Harlingen, strategically located between the IJsselmeer, the Frisian lakes and the Wadden Islands. The marina has 96 permanent berths for members, but visiting sailors are also warmly welcomed.

The marina is reached directly via the Van Harinxma Canal. Coming from the Tsjerk Hiddes locks, turn sharply to starboard (back), while from the direction of Franeker you should keep to port before the locks.

The club also runs the Allemanshuus and organises activities such as the HT-Race (the Harlingen-Terschelling sailing race), lectures, courses and youth sailing lessons.
