Haven Marenland Winsum

Marenland Winsum is a marina at the Marenland campsite in the green Groningen landscape, with access to the Reitdiep waterway and an extensive network of navigable canals towards the city of Groningen and the village of Zoutkamp. The marina offers spacious berths with shore power (10 amp).

The marina is open daily from 08:30-17:30 during the period 1 April to 1 October; outside the season you can reach them by phone 08:30-12:00. Berths cannot be booked in advance - you simply arrive, and for a box or berth you contact reception.

On site you'll find free wifi across the whole area, modern and sustainable toilets with solar-heated water, and a shared washing machine. There's a spacious playground with a large bouncy castle and swings, and you can barbecue on the waterside terrace or let Marenland arrange the whole cookout for you. Restaurant 'De Jongens uit de Buurt' sits right by the water with both indoor and outdoor seating, and next door you'll find the frieterie serving chips, the local Groninger 'eierbal' and Italian ice cream.

The charming village of Winsum is just a short walk from the marina - the centre is about 500 metres away, making it easy to enjoy the local culture and hospitality. Tie up at the quay, grab an ice cream from the frieterie, and stroll the 500 metres into Winsum's centre.
