About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Hellingshaven is one of Grou's four municipal harbours, located in the village of Grou in Friesland, where visiting sailors can moor with boats up to 12 metres. Grou's centre is within direct walking distance of the harbour.
After arrival, from 2 pm you can check in at the harbour office 't Havenhûs in Pikmeerhaven (Meersweg 9a), where the harbourmaster also comes round. The berth costs €1.77 per metre per night, including electricity, water and sanitary facilities; if you don't live in the Leeuwarden municipality, a tourist tax of €1.65 per person from age 5 also applies. Payment is only possible by debit card, credit card or app via the QR code at your berth. The harbour office is open 8:30 am-7 pm (1 April-1 June and 1 September-1 November) and 8:30 am-8 pm (1 June-1 September).
At 't Havenhûs you'll find showers, toilets, a washing machine and dryer, accessible with a code from your payment receipt. At or near all jetties there is electricity, drinking water and waste containers with combination locks. Pump-out for holding tanks is available at the FRO-kade in Hellingshaven and at jetty C in Pikmeerhaven. As a visiting sailor you also have a loan bike at your disposal.
