About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Hummelmora is a small village on the southern part of the island of Ljusterö in Österåker municipality, in the middle Stockholm archipelago. The place is known for its steamboat jetty, where Waxholmsbolaget ferries call on the route towards Husarö and Finnhamn, and for its older village core surrounded by newer holiday homes.
If you take a walk from the village, you'll find a sandy beach at Båtudden, reached via a footpath a few hundred metres away, along with fine bathing spots at Grönsholmen. The area offers unspoiled archipelago scenery with cliffs and meadows, and the hilltops give views over the surrounding islands and skerries. A grocery shop and post office are located at Ljusterö Torg, a short distance from the jetty.
