About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Åsättra brygga is a small boat harbour with associated parking on the outer side of Ljusterö in Österåker municipality, in Stockholm's central archipelago. The marina is run by the family business Åsättra Gård och Hamn AB and serves as an important transit point for onward travel out into the archipelago.
The jetty includes a guest berth where, according to local sources, a maximum stay of 24 hours is permitted. The harbour has regular passenger boat traffic to the larger islands in the archipelago as well as bus connections, and it can also be reached by car via a road ferry from the mainland.
At Åsättra there is a boat ramp roughly 4-5 metres wide, used for launching and hauling out boats. There are also parking spaces for boat owners and visitors, and near the jetty you'll find an ice cream kiosk.
From Åsättra brygga, Waxholmsbolaget's archipelago boats continue on to several popular islands, including Finnhamn, Ingmarsö and Svartsö. There is a bus connection (route 626) to Åkersberga and onward to Danderyd, making this a good starting point for land-based excursions in the region as well.
