Jachthaven AWV is a friendly club and guest marina on the Twentekanaal near Almelo/Wierden, founded in 1938 and affiliated with VNM. The marina lies peacefully on a side branch of the canal, which forms a through-route between the IJssel at Zutphen and Hoogeveen.

As a visiting sailor you are warmly welcomed for one or more overnight stays; the harbour master greets you upon arrival.

The marina has a cosy clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, where you can enjoy a good meal, a refreshing drink, or coffee/tea with something sweet on the waterside terrace. Bicycles are available on loan for visiting sailors, so you can cycle off to shop for groceries or explore the beautiful Twente landscape.
