Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Twentse Watersport Vereniging is a marina with room for around 80 boats, beautifully located in wooded surroundings on the Twentekanaal in Hengelo. In 2015 much of the pontoons were renewed, and the marina was adapted with more spacious berths for the increasingly larger boats.
Many of the club's members keep a berth elsewhere in the country during summer, so there are usually good spots available for visiting sailors.
Every berth has electricity on the pontoon, and there are several water points around the site. The clubhouse "De Roef" houses toilets, showers, changing rooms and a bar with kitchen. The marina also has a waste station for sorted recycling and a spot for chemical waste disposal. Free, well-functioning wifi is available both in the clubhouse and around the marina, and guests and members can park for free at the entrance. At night the site is secured with a coded gate and is well lit.
Tie up at one of the renewed pontoons in Hengelo and enjoy the wooded surroundings along the Twentekanaal.
