About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Waddenhaven Schiermonnikoog is a quiet Wadden Sea harbour set in the middle of Schiermonnikoog National Park, with views over the mudflats. The marina has around 120 berths in total, of which about 90 are guest berths spread across 5 pontoons; the traditional wooden-boat fleet is berthed in a separate part of the harbour. Listen on VHF channel 31. During the season the harbourmasters are present at high tide, and the harbour office is open 08.00-10.30 and 16.30-17.30, with different hours in the shoulder seasons. The season runs from early April to 1 November. Free water connections and a limited number of power points are available at the pontoons. Beneath the restaurant is a well-equipped sanitary building with toilets, showers, washing-up facilities, a washing machine and dryer, plus pump-out of chemical toilets; outside opening hours the night toilet, disabled toilet and chemical toilet by the red door remain accessible 24 hours a day. The whole harbour, the harbour building and the restaurant have free wifi. Restaurant Wad Anderz is located at the marina with views over the mudflats, offering everything from coffee and cake to lunch and dinner. The marina is within walking distance of the village, where you'll find restaurants and bars, a grocery shop, tourist information and bike rental. Schiermonnikoog National Park offers forest, dunes and an approximately 18 km long beach. Tie up at one of the five pontoons and enjoy the outstanding natural surroundings and the view over the Wadden Sea.
