Noordergat

Jachthaven Noordergat is located at Lauwersoog in the Netherlands, sheltered behind the dyke facing the Wadden Sea and with direct access to the Lauwersmeer. The marina offers various berth sizes for permanent moorings, and the harbourmaster will assign you a berth to suit your boat. Guest berths are available on a pontoon at the entrance on the marina's west side, set at right angles to another pontoon, or along the quay between the boat lift and the trailer slipway. Ashore you'll find washroom facilities, waste containers, a laundry room and a playground, as well as the Het Roode Hooft clubhouse and the harbour office. By the water there's a diesel fuel pump, a mast crane, a boat lift, a slipway for small boats and a trailer slipway. From the Lauwersmeer you can follow the fixed-mast route via the Reitdiep to the city of Groningen, or continue on to the Frisian lakes. Just 350 metres from the marina lies the Robbengatsluis lock, beyond which you can reach the Dutch and German Wadden Sea, the Wadden Islands and the North Sea. The island of Schiermonnikoog is within easy reach, with its ferry harbour just a short walk away. Moor at the guest pontoon by the entrance and set off on foot or by bike to explore the Lauwersmeer area, or catch the ferry to Schiermonnikoog.
