Jönköpings gästhamn

Jönköpings gästhamn (guest harbour) is centrally located in Jönköping, at the southern tip of Lake Vättern, close to the railway station and the city centre.

The harbour offers guest berths and is one of four guest harbours the municipality operates around Lake Vättern. Jönköping has 20 guest berths. The depth at the guest berths is currently shallow, ranging from 0.6 m to 1 m. The toilet is open between 10:00 and 20:00.

The harbour provides fresh water, toilets, a pump-out facility and a waste/environmental station. According to a guest harbour guide there are also showers, toilets, electricity, fresh water, a grocery shop and a restaurant at the harbour, and the restaurant boat Saltkråkan is moored in the harbour basin, while the pier has five more restaurants, an ice-cream kiosk and a café selling ice cream and light meals.

Within walking distance you'll find the match-factory area with the Radio and Technology Museum and the Match Museum, the theatre and the Culture House, plus the County Museum 600 metres away. There's also the City Park with an open-air museum and a bird museum, the A6 Center with a defence museum and fire exhibition, the Rosenlund swimming pool with ten indoor and outdoor pools, plus four golf courses and 270 km of hiking trails.
