About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Jyllinge Nordhavn is a smaller, privately owned marina located on the north side of Jyllinge on Roskilde Fjord, separate from the much larger Jyllinge Lystbådehavn situated south of the old town. The marina offers a quieter alternative to its larger neighbour.
The marina lies before the more critical approach channel into Jyllinge, about one kilometre from the town itself, with a stated depth of around 2.5 metres at the harbour. Jyllinge Nordhavn is part of the Frihavn scheme, meaning visiting sailors from other member harbours can stay for up to three days at a reduced rate, and the guest berth price starts at around 100 DKK per night.
Facilities at the marina include showers, toilets, and shore power at the berths, along with a crane for smaller boat lifts. A defibrillator is also available on site.
It is about one kilometre to Jyllinge's old town, where thatched houses sit among the large trees of the slope down toward the fjord by the idyllic small fishing harbour, and where you'll find the church dating from around 1100 as well as a local fjord museum. Berth in the peaceful Nordhavn and take the walk into the atmospheric old Jyllinge.
