About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Langø Havn lies at the entrance to Nakskov Fjord on the island of Lolland and comprises two harbours side by side: the old fishing harbour to the east, established in 1909 as a landing stage for herring boats, and the marina to the west, inaugurated by Langø Bådelaug in 1991. The harbour is owned and run by Langø Bådelaug and has around 90 berths, largely built through the voluntary work of its members. In 2008 the harbour got a brand-new clubhouse with fine facilities.
The harbour can be entered around the clock, with green leading lights guiding vessels in on a course of 169 degrees, while the entrance is further marked with red and green stakes. The innermost guest berths have a depth of around 1 metre, and boats over 10 metres are recommended to moor in the fishing harbour instead. A speed limit of 3 knots applies within the harbour basins.
The new clubhouse offers showers, toilets, a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus wireless internet. Shore power and fresh water are available at the berths, pump-out for holding tanks is offered, and you can refuel at the harbour. For boat maintenance and lifting there is a travel lift and mast crane along with local marine service. Guests can borrow bikes and kayaks free of charge, and the harbour has a small café with a fish stall, a barbecue area with a view over the fjord, and a playground for children.
