About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Leksvik Småbåthavn is a guest harbour in Leksvik, a small town in Indre Fosen municipality in Trøndelag, located on the western shore of the Trondheimsfjorden.
The entrance is narrow, and the guest pier is on the left side as you enter the harbour. The middle of the basin can be somewhat shallow for boats drawing more than 1.5 m, though the bottom is generally sandy. Watch out for cables and an isolated stone shoal running diagonally from the diesel pier towards the centre of the basin – the best depth for guest boats is at the outer end of the guest pier. Mooring is longside or stern-to when the harbour is full. An overnight stay costs 150 NOK including electricity or 100 NOK without, paid via Vipps or in an envelope by the gangway.
At the guest pier there is a separate service room with toilet, shower, washing machine and dryer – the key is available at Harry's eatery. Water is available on the pier during the summer season, and electricity can be drawn from unlocked power pedestals on the guest pier. The harbour also offers diesel fuel, boat equipment, a crane/lift, a slipway and parking, along with a café and restaurant nearby.
Within walking distance in the town centre you'll find a shop, pharmacy and post office, and Harry's eatery sits right by the guest pier. Tie up at the pier and enjoy the local atmosphere in the middle of the Trondheimsfjorden.
