About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Lemvig Havn lies in the heart of the cosy market town of Lemvig, at the head of the sheltered Lem Vig inlet on the Limfjord. Over recent decades the harbour has changed from a fishing and industrial port into a lively experience harbour, letting you berth right in the middle of town close to shops, restaurants and cultural attractions.
As a visiting sailor you'll find a free berth marked with a green sign, after which you pay at the machine by the entrance to Østershuset within an hour of arrival and place the sticker visibly on the bow. Note that Lemvig Havn is not a Schengen harbour, so vessels must report their arrival to Thyborøn Havn. A speed limit of 3 knots applies throughout the harbour. The rate is 138 DKK per day for the first three days, then 46 DKK per day, while a weekly card costs 320 DKK; if your home harbour is part of the guest-harbour reciprocal scheme, a night costs 46 DKK. Reference is made to the Danish Pilot Guide and chart no. 108.
The harbour has two sailors' lounges – in Isværket and in Havnens Hus – with seating areas, tables and chairs plus a fully equipped kitchen for free use, both opening onto terraces with a view. You'll also find toilets and showers, plus the option to refuel. Electricity is available from pedestals on the quay and billed per kWh. Waste must be sorted and disposed of at the harbour's recycling stations.
