About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Remmerstrand Jollehavn is a small dinghy harbour at Remmerstrand in Gudum parish, located in the southeastern part of Nissum Bredning, between Lemvig and Struer. The harbour is run by the local Remmerstrand Bådelaug boat club and reportedly has room for around 40 small boats and dinghies.
The entrance channel has over the years tended to silt up during strong north-westerly winds, at times closing the harbour to outgoing traffic; most recently in 2025 an eight-month period of silting was resolved after the club obtained the necessary permit to dredge the channel. There is a slipway where boats and dinghies can be launched for a modest fee.
Ashore you'll find toilets and showers, along with good parking for both cars and boat trailers. There is also a pavilion with tables and benches where you can sit sheltered from the weather.
The surrounding area of Remmerstrand offers scenic views between fjord and hills. Within walking distance lies the Aa Mølle museum, and the village of Humlum with a railway station on the Thy Line is a few kilometres away. If you're heading out onto the Limfjord in a small boat or dinghy, this cosy little spot makes a peaceful base with a view over the water.
