About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Lidköping's guest marina, also known as Småbåtshamnen, is located in the Framnäs small boat harbour about 300 metres west of the mouth of the Lidan river, on the southern shore of Lake Vänern. The marina is run by the sailing club Segelsällskapet Wästgötarne (SSW) on behalf of Lidköping Municipality and the Framnäs harbour association.
The harbour depth is around 2.5 metres, and there is a boat launching ramp for recreational craft.
The marina offers most of what visiting boats need: toilets, showers, a laundry room and shore power at the berths. There are also pleasant sunbathing jetties to enjoy. Nearby you'll find several boat repair workshops offering servicing and spare parts.
From the marina it's about a 5-minute walk to the Framnäs shopping centre with a grocery store among other things, about 10 minutes to Rörstrand Center with restaurants and shops, and about 15 minutes to Nya Stadens Torg with cosy shops, cafés and restaurants. Come and berth in Lidköping to enjoy easy access to both town life and lakeside swimming.
