Lystbådehavnen Stige Ø

Lystbådehavnen Stige Ø near Odense is home to Odense Sejlklub, Sejlklubben Fjorden and Odense Yachtklub, with room for 143 boats. The marina lies inside Odense Havn at the end of the roughly 8.2 km long Odense Kanal, reached via Gabet, the narrow passage between the Kattegat and Odense Fjord at Enebær Odde – the passage takes about 1.5 hours. Depth at the entrance is 2.5 m, and inside the harbour it is as little as 2.0 m; the marina can be entered by boats up to 12 m length, 3.0 m beam and 2.0 m draught. Be aware of strong currents and at times rough seas at Gabet, as well as traffic from large ships in the fairway. Toilets and showers are located at the entrance on the back of the clubhouse, the red building in the middle of the site, and berthing fees are paid by envelope at the harbour office, the white building next to the clubhouse – members of the Frihavnsordning also pay an environmental fee. Household waste, waste oil, bottles and cans can be disposed of in containers and bins by the road. The club also operates a well-functioning boat trailer system for launching and hauling out boats. Grocery stores such as Rema 1000, Lidl and Meny are about 3 km from the marina, while Odense city centre is about 6 km away, mostly along a cycle path.
