About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Marina Mehlbergen is a family-run marina on the Mittelweser in Balge near Nienburg/Weser, operating since 1975. The marina has around 130 seasonal berths and 7 guest berths, and it's only 4 locks to Bremen, making it a good starting point for trips towards Bremen or Hann. Münden.
Shore power is available directly at the berths, and fresh water is provided at central water points in the harbour basin. A professional slipway lies protected in the harbour basin and can handle boats up to 3.5 tonnes; single launches start from €12.50, with seasonal flat rates available for anglers.
At the marina you'll find toilets and showers, a washing machine and dryer, as well as the Treibgut Store offering fresh bread, drinks, snacks and everyday supplies - the shop serves both marina guests and locals. There is also wifi and wastewater disposal for the motorhome pitches, plus a swimming pond on site where dogs are welcome.
The Weser cycle path runs right past the marina, and Nienburg's old town is about a 30-minute bike ride away. Tie up at one of the 7 guest berths in the sheltered harbour basin and head straight to the Treibgut Store for fresh bread for breakfast.
