About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 27 September 2026Kanu-Club Nienburg/Weser e.V. runs a central marina on the Mittelweser in Nienburg, mainly for members, but with a limited number of guest berths for motorboats. The guest berths are on the front pontoon to the left as seen from the harbour entrance and are reserved for overnight guests; the season runs from 1 May to 31 October, and prior telephone booking with the harbourmaster is required. Berthing costs from €15 per night for boats up to 9.99 metres, €20 for boats up to 14.99 metres and €25 for boats from 15 metres, payable in cash. Shore power is available at the guest berths, and drinking water can be taken on board at the pontoon, though it's recommended to flush the hoses thoroughly before use. There are washroom and toilet facilities, which guests should ask the harbourmaster about using, plus a waste bin for small amounts of rubbish. A car park is available at the clubhouse for members and guests. Nienburg's historic old town is less than a 5-minute walk from the marina, and a supermarket, hardware store, electronics store and petrol station are about 400 metres away. Tie up at the front guest pontoon and stroll the few minutes into Nienburg's charming old town.
