About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026WAK Marina Niestetal is a club marina on the river Fulda in Niestetal, near Kassel, at position 51° 19.69′ N 09° 33.22′ E.
The marina has a slipway with a fender-protected jetty, where boats up to 10 metres (except steel and sailing boats) can be launched during the season from 1 April to 31 October. Launching costs €15, and proof of valid third-party liability insurance for the boat is required. The slipway is only accessible when a club member is present, so an appointment must be arranged in advance.
At the berths there are electricity boxes for each pontoon spot, and drinking water is available at the jetty, which users are asked to use sparingly.
Tie up at the fender-protected jetty and arrange an appointment in good time to use the slipway if you want to launch your boat on the Fulda at Niestetal.
