Motor- und Yachtclub Stade e.V. - Unterhafen

Motor- und Yachtclub Stade e.V. is located in the Unterhafen on the Schwinge river, close to the Elbe near Stade in Germany. The club has run the marina since 1968 and offers berths for motorboats and sailboats in a well-kept facility with a maritime atmosphere.

You enter from the Elbe between buoys 103 and 105 at Pegel Stadersand, into the Schwinge. At km 4.2 you pass through the Schwingesperrwerk barrage, and at km 2.5 the Unterhafen lies on the left bank just before the railway bridge; the Oberhafen is found directly after the bridge. Guest berth fees are calculated per started metre of boat length: €1/day for up to 5 days, €6/week from 6 days to 4 weeks, €22/month from 4 to 12 weeks, and €90/season from 12 weeks onward. Electricity costs €1.5/day, €9/week, €37.5/month or €112.5 per season, and a shower costs €1. A deposit of €25 is charged for the guest key. The harbour office is staffed during the season from 4-6 pm.

The marina has toilets and sanitary facilities, showers, electricity at the berths, waste containers for sorting, a crane and slipway for launching and hauling out boats, and a playground for children. Guests can borrow the club's bicycles free of charge for a trip around the area, and there is a barbecue area in front of the clubhouse.
