About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Wassersport-Club Haseldorf has its guest harbour on the Haseldorfer Binnenelbe, nestled between the flood defence dyke and a small stretch of woodland that shelters the berths from north-westerly winds. The harbour is tide-dependent and falls completely dry at low water, as it connects to the Elbe's main channel via the Dwarsloch and Haseldorfer Binnenelbe.

For deeper-draught and longer boats, the berths in the main channel are recommended; the pontoon system consists of floating docks that dry out together with the boats. When mooring at the quay wall, great attention must be paid to the tidal range. Free day-visitor berths are marked with a green sign, and boaters should follow the harbourmaster's instructions. If the harbourmaster is not present, envelopes for paying harbour dues are available at the harbourmaster's house. Prices for day guests start at 7.00 euros per night for boats up to 6.0 metres and increase with boat length; seasonal guest berths cost 25.00 euros per m². The slipway may be used for a fee - 12.00 euros for a single launch and haul-out.

Water and electricity are available at the main pontoon. The reed-thatched harbour house behind the dyke contains toilets and showers. The slipway is easily reached via the large car park, and access is granted by the harbourmaster. Guest sailors can borrow bicycles at the harbourmaster's house.

Near the harbour, the restaurant Haseldörper Röökerkist is located directly at the harbour site, while Jägerkrug Hohenhorst is 2.2 km away.
