About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Münsterdorfer Yacht Club is a club-run marina on the river Stör in Münsterdorf, Schleswig-Holstein. The club was founded on 1 May 1977 and, until 2011, was based in the old lock harbour of the Breitenburger Kanal, a facility leased long-term from Graf zu Rantzau that had previously served transport barges as a lock harbour.
Since 1 June 2011 the old lock harbour can no longer be entered by boat, after the lock was rebuilt into a sluice structure. Instead, the club's former waiting jetty in the Stör was extended and has, since 2012, been approved as the new berthing site for the club's boats; the facility is located at km 19.5 on the right bank of the Stör. Boats up to a maximum width of 4 metres may moor at the jetty.
The berths (schlengel) are equipped with shore power and fresh water.
Within walking distance of the marina you'll find the Golfclub Schloss Breitenburg golf course and the neo-Gothic St.-Anschar-Kirche, located about 740 metres southwest of the marina. Come alongside the waiting jetty in the Stör and discover a club with history dating back to 1977.
