About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Norra Vi Båthamn is a small, member-run marina at Vassviken in the village of Norra Vi kyrkby, on the southeastern arm of Lake Sommen in Östergötland. The harbour is operated by Norra Vi Båtklubb, whose members have personally purchased the land and built the pier, the jetties, the floating docks, the boathouses and the berths.
The harbour has toilets, which club members take turns maintaining as part of the shared upkeep of the harbour.
Several times a year the local associations in Norra Vi parish arrange a joint Hamncafé at the harbour, where visitors can, among other things, try out the old "Sommaskep" — a rowing boat once used for transport across Lake Sommen. Drop by and experience the down-to-earth atmosphere around the jetties at Vassviken.
