About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Nyborg Marina is a modern city marina on the island of Funen, divided into four harbour sections of which Vesterhavnen and Østerhavnen are reserved for visiting sailors. The marina has around 550 berths for all types of boats and is certified as a Sikker Havn (Safe Harbour) for the period 2024-2027.
You sail in through a beautiful fjord, only 8 nautical miles long, with Nyborg Castle as a natural landmark. Vesterhavnen lies closest to the town with restaurants and shops right down to the quay, while Østerhavnen is suitable for larger vessels that can moor alongside. Reservations are only possible for boats over 20 metres - otherwise you will always find a berth. Guest fees include electricity and water.
On the pontoons you get free access to water and shore power (for consumption above 800 W the marina staff should be contacted). Public toilets and showers are available at several locations in the marina, including near Lauses Grill in Østerhavnen, behind Marineforeningen in Vesterhavnen, at the harbour office, and at Griffensund. The marina also offers a laundry room, a sailors' lounge with kitchen, a slipway, a pump-out station, a boat crane, a mast crane and a waste station. There is a fuel station and a small grocery shop in the marina as well as a restaurant. For children there is a playground and several barbecue areas with tables and benches, and you can rent kayaks and SUP boards via a Kayakomat.
