About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026

Otterup Lystbådehavn is a private natural harbour located at the innermost part of Egensedybet in Odense Fjord on Nordfyn. The harbour was built in 1973 and inaugurated in 1974 by local residents, and it is often called Denmark's most beautiful natural harbour.

In summer, markings are laid out so you as a visiting sailor can easily find your way into the harbour. A guest berth costs 190 DKK per night, and the price includes electricity, water, toilet, shower, wifi, washing machine and use of bicycles. Payment is made at the information board at the harbour office or via an app.

At the harbour you'll find toilets and showers in the western end of the mast house, freely available to guest sailors and campers. The clubhouse has a kitchen that guests may use, plus wifi and phone charging facilities. You can refuel with petrol and diesel, use the slipway and crane, and access chandlery and boatyard services. The harbour area also has a playground, bonfire huts and a shelter with a fire pit, as well as parking possibilities.

From here you can walk in the idyllic nature surrounding the fjord or go crab fishing. The nearest shops are in Otterup, about 6 km from the harbour, while the nature area at Enebærodde and the view over "Gabet" towards Odense Fjord are within walking distance. Tie up in this peaceful natural setting and enjoy the calm of Egensedybet.
