Rabben marina

Rabben Marina is located at Sistranda in Frøya municipality in Trøndelag, an island municipality facing the open sea. The marina is built around floating pontoons with wave breakers, and in its current construction stage offers space for around 80-90 small boats along with a guest harbour with ample room, shore power and water at the berths.

Note that several sources through 2025 have reported that the guest marina, following storm damage and a bankruptcy, has temporarily not been available for overnight guest boaters - so check the current status before planning an overnight stay. The on-site restaurant, however, continues to operate.

At the marina itself you'll find a service building with toilets, showers and a laundry room, attached to Rabben Restaurant. You can connect to shore power, and there is parking - including for motorhomes and caravans. The harbour also offers a café by the pontoon as well as a restaurant and pub with a bar. According to local harbour guides there is also a crane/lift, a slipway, a chandlery, a grocery/kiosk, wifi, a playground, and facilities for pump-out and waste disposal.

Within walking distance is Rabben Restaurant og Pizzeria right at the marina, where you can enjoy seafood made from local ingredients with views over the marina and the sea - including in the renovated 'Rabbenbrygga' and the adjoining conservatory. The nearest grocery store is also a short walk away. Check the current status of guest berths and experience the seaside setting at Rabben.
