About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Ramsmora Varv & Marina is a full-service boatyard and marina on the island of Ljusterö in the heart of Stockholm's archipelago, sheltered in the Ramsmoraviken bay. Founded in 1982, it is regarded as one of the larger and more reputable yards in the archipelago, with a focus on boat repair and maintenance.
The facility is easily reached by car, bus or the Waxholmsbåt ferry, and from here it's a short trip out into the middle and outer archipelago — within a 10 nautical mile radius you'll find Husarö, Möja and Finnhamn. As a contracted berth holder you have access to a berth with electricity and water.
On site there is a service building with toilets, showers, a pantry and a dining area, plus waste disposal and a mast crane available to berth holders. The yard is an authorised service centre for Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Mercury/Mercruiser, and has a lifting capacity of up to 40 tonnes, allowing it to handle both small and large boats. For winter, storage is offered in a heated hall of around 1,500 m² kept at a constant 15°C, as well as outdoor space for more than 300 boats.
Head for Ramsmoraviken on Ljusterö, where the northern archipelago opens up right outside the berth.
