About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Render Havn is a small natural harbour on Ringkøbing Fjord, located south of Hvide Sande on the way towards Nymindegab. The harbour dates back to around 1895, when local fishermen used the spot both for fishing on the fjord and as a starting point for shopping trips to Ringkøbing. Besides Hvide Sande's main harbour with its lock, the area has two smaller sports harbours – Render Havn to the south and Tyskerhavn to the north.
From the small harbour you get a fine view down towards the southern end of the fjord.
There is a walking route along the fjord between Hvide Sande and Render Havn, passing Mamrelund among other places and continuing along the water – a good option if you want to stretch your legs after sailing and explore the area on foot.
