About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Røjklit Havn is a small, cozy fjord harbour at the southern end of Stadil Fjord, close to the village of Kloster and just a short drive from the holiday town of Søndervig in west Jutland. The harbour has 40 berths, mostly used by small dinghies, and also serves as the base for the Holmsland Friluftslaug outdoor association and the local kayak club.
At the harbour you'll find a toilet building with a sink, where drinking water can also be fetched. There is a floating jetty by the water's edge, a bonfire/grill site, and a covered dining shed with tables and benches where you can enjoy the view over the fjord. The area also includes three tipi-style shelters for overnight stays.
From the harbour there are wide views across Stadil Fjord towards the protected island of Hindø with its rich birdlife, as well as towards Stadil Church and the dune landscape to the west. The harbour is a popular starting point for kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding on the fjord, with fishing for perch, pike, roach, whitefish and flounder. Every year, on the second Sunday of September, the harbour hosts Naturens Dag (Nature's Day), and a 15 km cycling route connects Kloster, Røjklit Havn and Søndervig.
Pull in at Røjklit Havn and experience the tranquil fjord scenery, the birdlife around Hindø and the relaxed atmosphere by the dining shed.
