About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Thyborøn Lystbådehavn is located in the innermost, northernmost part of Thyborøn Harbour at Nordre Inderhavn, quay 100-103, in the historic part of the harbour right in the town centre. The marina is run by Lemvig Municipality and has room for about 33 boats on piles, but in cooperation with Thyborøn Harbour space can always be found for more boats, both small and large.
Harbour fees are paid via the cash loader at the entrance to the sailors' rooms at the far end of Den Røde Hal, where you also receive a card for the sailors' rooms, shower rooms and electricity posts. Water and electricity are available at posts, with instructions found in "Æ´rø´ Hus" in Nordre Inderhavn; electricity cards can also be bought at the tourist office.
Guest sailors have access to fine shower and toilet facilities plus a shared kitchen and common room in Den Røde Hal (entrance from quay 101), with a view over the exit to the North Sea and Agger. The ground floor also has a washing machine and dryer for free use, and upstairs there is a common room for 48 people with a double kitchen, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, plus access to two balconies with garden furniture.
A stone's throw from the marina lies a child-friendly bathing beach, and a few hundred metres in the other direction is the town's cosy shopping street with grocery shops and fish restaurants. Moor at quay 100-103 and walk straight into Thyborøn's shopping street and beach.
