About the harbour

Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026

Adolphsdorfer Torfschiffer offers peat-boat tours on the river Hamme from Neu-Helgoland near Worpswede, where the association's boats are berthed in the harbour. From May to October regular round trips run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 2 pm, plus Saturdays at 4 pm and Sundays at noon. Each peat boat carries up to 16 people, and whole boats can be booked for groups. On board you'll hear about the history and nature of the Teufelsmoor, and whenever possible the boats sail under canvas.
