About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Uggelhuse Havn is a small, privately run marina on the south side of Randers Fjord, in the old fjord fishing village of Uggelhuse, situated about 14 km east of Randers. The harbour is run by Uggelhuse Sejlklub, and the marina itself consists of a basin roughly 60 x 35 metres, from which a T-shaped guest pontoon extends out into the fjord.
A speed limit of 3 knots applies inside the harbour basin, and the difference between mean high and mean low water is 0.5-0.8 metres - northwesterly winds can push water levels up to 1.5 metres, while easterly winds bring low water. Electricity and water are available on the pontoons for visiting sailors.
Within the harbour area you'll find a 200 kg mast crane and a slipway, useful for launching or hauling out smaller boats. The harbour also has a clubhouse with toilets and showers, plus a barbecue area that visiting sailors are welcome to use. The harbour's bicycles can be borrowed free of charge if you want to explore further afield.
Uggelhuse itself is a charming, old fjord fishing village with around 450 residents. You can stroll along the fjord, relax on the benches overlooking the water, or take a dip straight from the T-shaped pontoon. The area also has shelters with fjord views for those wanting to camp out overnight. Come and moor in Uggelhuse to experience the calm fjord scenery right from the water.
