Randers Lystbådehavn

Randers Marina is a river port located at the end of Randers Fjord, close to residential areas and the town centre, and connected to the commercial harbour. The marina is run by Randers Sailing Club, which has its clubhouse here.

For first-time visitors it can be tricky in daylight to spot the actual mouth of the fjord coming in from the Kattegat, as the coastline appears unbroken along the shallow area. The fairway has a depth of 7 metres, since a fair number of cargo ships use the route to and from Randers, so the marking is kept in good order. The fjord has tidal currents, running in and out fairly regularly though affected by wind. As a visiting sailor you pay DKK 150 per day regardless of boat size, while guests arriving from a reciprocal "frihavn" harbour pay DKK 40 per day for up to three days. Payment is made at the vending machine on the terrace by Randers Sailing Club's clubhouse, where you also receive the code for the clubhouse and toilet/shower facilities.

The marina offers toilet and shower facilities as well as shore power at the berths. From 1 May to 1 October you can borrow one of the four free harbour bikes to explore town. At the clubhouse you'll find the cosy Restaurant Sejlklubben with a view over the marina. If you're travelling by motorhome, you can park at the harbour for a fixed daily rate that includes access to toilet and shower facilities.
