About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 29 September 2026Varbjerg Havn is a small, privately owned marina beautifully situated in Båring Vig between Middelfart and Bogense, close to Bro Strand. The harbour has 55 berths, all privately owned, and is run solely on membership fees and payments from guest boats and trailer boats without public funding.
The harbour can normally be entered from 2 hours after low water to 2 hours before low water. When entering, keep the marked posts on your port side at a distance of about 2-3 metres. Boats with a draught over 0.8 metres are advised against entering, and sailors unfamiliar with the area should avoid the harbour in strong winds from the northwest. Guest sailors are welcome, and the price for an overnight stay is DKK 60.
Water and electricity are available at the pontoons, though in limited supply. By contacting the harbourmaster you can borrow a key to the clubhouse, which provides access to toilets, showers and kitchen facilities.
The harbour lies close to a lovely bathing beach, so whether you fancy a swim or simply want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Båring Vig, there is plenty to enjoy right by the marina.
