About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Vinga guest harbour is a small, well-sheltered marina on the island of Vinga off Gothenburg in the Kattegat, with room for about 30 boats of normal size. Maximum boat length is around 40 feet, and the maximum depth in the harbour is 2.5 metres. Outside the harbour, east of the pilot harbour, you can also lie alongside the pier in suitable weather, though you may need to make way for the tour boat during the day. For smaller boats there are also mooring rings in the rock from the pier eastwards. Anchoring is prohibited throughout Koholmsrännan, including the harbour itself, and mooring in the pilot harbour requires special permission from the Swedish Maritime Administration. The harbour is unmanned outside the season, but during summer volunteers from Winga Vänner help assign suitable berths. From 15 April to 15 October a harbour fee applies to all boats: members pay 170 SEK under 10 metres and 200 SEK over 10 metres, non-members 240 SEK under 10 metres and 280 SEK over 10 metres. From 16 October to 14 April only an electricity fee is charged. The electricity fee is 85 SEK per boat per day per connection cable. Payment is made via Swish or cash in an envelope in the white box by the kiosk building, remembering to note the date and the boat's name. The harbour has toilets and access to a waste room from 15 April to 15 October, plus the pleasant grill area 'Brända Fläsket', available to all guests.
