About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Virksund Lystbådehavn lies at the bottom of Lovns Bredning by the Virksund dam leading to Hjarbæk Fjord, with room for about 150 boats. The marina is part of the free-harbour scheme and offers a lively summer atmosphere with hospitality for sailors and motorhome visitors alike.
Entry is between the tip of Odden and a port-hand mark about 25 metres from it, after which you head straight for the marina, which lies well sheltered from all wind directions. Free berths are marked green (red means occupied), and numbers on the pontoon indicate the distance between the outer posts. A guest berth costs DKK 160 per night including electricity, wifi, showers and the sailors' galley, while free-harbour berths cost DKK 60 per night for up to 3 nights. Motorhomes pay DKK 160 per night and park behind the clubhouse. Payment is made at the machine by the harbour office.
The marina offers toilets and showers in the clubhouse, a washing machine and tumble dryer in the sailors' galley, and a pump-out facility for holding tanks and chemical toilets by the red shed near the crane. There's a fuel berth for marine diesel by the harbour crane, free shore power on the piers (up to 800W per berth) and wifi issued with your receipt. The harbour's 12-tonne crane can be used by arrangement with the crane team.
