Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Wassersport-Weser e.V. is a club-run campsite and marina on the dammed River Weser, just above the weir at Drakenburg in Lower Saxony. Founded in 1972, the club now has around 140 members with roughly 100 boat berths and about 120 camping plots for caravans and motorhomes.
The marina sits in the quiet Wehrarm channel, so you won't be bothered by wash from commercial shipping. About 4 guest berths are reserved at the club's guest pontoon for passing boaters, but advance booking by email is required. The rate is 1 euro per metre of boat length per night plus a guest fee per person per night (3 euros, children under 14 free). The season runs from 1 April to 15 October. The slipway may only be used by members and overnight guests, at a cost of 10 euros per launch.
On site you'll find a sanitary building with free toilets and showers, plus a free waste and wastewater disposal station. Electricity is available for a flat fee of 3 euros per night, free wifi where available, and a small snack stand (Platzimbiss) on the grounds.
The Weser cycle path runs right past the marina, making it quick to cycle into Nienburg, just 6 km away. About 500 metres from the marina there's a jet-ski course, and the site borders a nature reserve rich in flora and fauna. Tie up at the guest pontoon and enjoy the peace of the Drakenburger Weserbogen.
