About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Wismarer Segler-Verein 1911 is a small natural harbour in the Hanseatic town of Wismar on the Wismar Bay, on Germany's Baltic coast. The marina has around 30 guest berths at the north and south piers, while club members lie at the middle pier with about 40 berths; free berths are marked with green signs. Berthing fees are tiered by boat length, and for a 5-metre boat the price starts from EUR 9 per night.
You'll find a quiet berth with electricity and water connection, and showers are available at the marina. Parking for cars and caravans is provided within the fenced-in grounds.
Shops and the post office are about a 15-minute walk from the marina. Wismar's almost original medieval Hanseatic old town, with its imposing brick churches, lies right on the doorstep, and the town's newest landmark is Europe's largest shipbuilding hall.
Tie up at the north or south pier, wander through the historic Hanseatic town, and return for a peaceful night's sleep in the hidden natural harbour.
