Yachtclub Zollenspieker

Yachtclub Zollenspieker (YCZ) is a small club-run tidal marina on the north bank of the River Elbe, just 30 minutes' drive from central Hamburg, at Elbe kilometre 598.2, ten kilometres west of the Geesthacht lock. The marina has room for sailing and motor boats up to ten metres and can be entered even at normal low tide.

Guest sailors are welcome both for day trips and overnight stays; free guest berths are marked with a green sign. The fee is 5 € for short visits/day guests, 12 € per night for boats under 10 metres and 15 € per night for boats over 10 metres.

Water and electricity connections are available at the pontoon, and the marina has sanitary facilities with showers and toilets. There is a slipway, and a children's playground is located right by the marina.

The well-known Zollenspieker Fährhaus hotel and restaurant is within sight of the marina, and at the Elbe ferry you can get fish sandwiches, currywurst and chips. A fuel station, bakery, grocery store, doctors, bank and pharmacy are all in the immediate vicinity, and the Elbwanderweg hiking trail runs right past the marina. Tie up at the green-marked guest berth and walk the short distance to Zollenspieker Fährhaus for a well-earned lunch.
