About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Yachthafen Oberwinter is a modern marina on the Rhine at river kilometre 639, with room for boats up to 34 metres. The harbour has two level-independent floating pontoon systems (on the shore and pier sides), linked by an extendable swing bridge.
The entrance is on the left bank; keep well clear of the pier (shallow water) and leave the buoy marked 'Hafeneinfahrt' to port. Guest berths are found right after the entrance to starboard, marked with green signs - red signs or no marking indicate permanent berths. Boats over 14 metres are directed to the rear part of the harbour behind the sanitary container. Registration is via the letterbox at the entrance to the restaurant ship. The price is €1.50 per metre of boat length (rounded up) per night, and stays can last up to 14 days.
On the pontoons you'll find shore power via coin meters (€0.50/kWh) and free drinking water from the tap. Sanitary containers on both the pier and shore sides offer showers (€0.50), a washing machine (€4) and a dryer (€1/20 min) - though closed during winter. There is waste sorting at entrance 1, pump-out by arrangement, free wash pumps for cleaning your boat, and a slipway right in the harbour. A fenced car park is reserved for marina guests.
Step ashore and explore the surroundings - grocery shops are within walking distance, and Bonn and Remagen make for easy day trips.
