Askø Havn

Askø Havn is a combined ferry and marina on the island of Askø in the Smålandsfarvandet strait, south of Lolland. The harbour has a unique atmosphere, and the small ferry that sails to Bandholm on Lolland brings life to the little harbour.

The harbour house offers toilet, shower and a modern kitchen, as well as a lounge with TV. There are also barbecue areas at several spots around the harbour, which guest sailors are welcome to use. Internet is free throughout the harbour, with no password required. Askø & Lilleø Beboerforening rents out bicycles at the harbour, on a self-service basis with a payment box for the bike rental. There is also a slipway.

Explore the island on foot or by bike – you can walk all the way around the island in a couple of hours, getting up close to nature and bird life on the island, as well as admiring the many well-preserved old houses and farms. The island's old, well-preserved church and a small museum dedicated to the island can be found approximately 2 km from the harbour.
