About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bockön-Mjöön is a nature reserve in the Hällaryd archipelago in Karlshamn municipality, east of Karlshamn in Blekinge. The reserve comprises the islands of Bockön and Mjöön, a number of smaller skerries and the surrounding sea, and can only be reached by boat. The landscape has been shaped by long-standing grazing and hay-making, and grazing animals can still be found on the islands during the summer months. From Bockön's highest point there is a fine view over the archipelago, and the area offers good opportunities for swimming, fishing and birdwatching. Be aware that the northeastern part around Mjöön is a bird protection area, where entry is prohibited from 1 April to 15 July. The reserve borders other protected marine natural areas such as Eriksbergs stränder, Eriksberg and Tjärö, forming part of a larger connected natural area in the Blekinge archipelago.
