About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Svanevik is a small, association-run guest harbour/marina in the Vägga area east of Karlshamn, located at Solskensviken in the southern part of town. The harbour has a cosy, laid-back character with around ten guest berths and the possibility of alongside mooring, more small-boat harbour than busy town quay.
Depth in the small-boat harbour varies between 0.5 and 5 metres, and boats are moored mainly using mooring poles. The harbour is open during weeks 25-32 in summer.
At the pontoons you'll find electricity, fresh water, an accessible toilet and showers, as well as a mast crane, a slipway and a mast-storage shed. There is also pump-out for holding tanks, fuel (diesel), parking, internet access, shore power, and access to a boatyard/mechanic plus waste disposal.
A path leads from the jetty to the Väggaberg cliffs, popular for sunbathing in summer, and you can walk to Kollevik beach and Kollevik campsite. Around the harbour you'll also find marine services, a café, a restaurant, a grocery store and a fish smokehouse. The Vägga area was developed as early as the late 19th century into Karlshamn's foremost recreation area. Head for Svanevik and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in a historic recreational area within walking distance of the beach, food and activities.
