Fritidshamn Matvik

Matvik is Karlshamn Municipality's largest marina, located about 10 km east of Karlshamn town centre at the gateway to the Hällaryd archipelago. The marina has around 500 berths with pole and y-boom moorings, and water depth in the harbour varies between 1.5 and 3 metres.

Guest berths are found, among other places, at jetty 10, the outer pontoon, with four spots featuring y-booms 4-4.2 metres wide. The fee for a guest berth is 150 SEK per night, paid via a box by the mast crane or through Swish. During summer, the archipelago ferry service also calls at Matvik on its way to the islands south of the harbour.

The marina offers electricity and fresh water at the pontoons, an accessible toilet and shower in the service building, plus a mast crane and a slipway for launching. There are facilities for household waste disposal and for pump-out of boat toilets, along with a tank for collecting waste oil. Note that there is no fuel station within the harbour itself - the nearest marine fuel is found in Nogersund or on Karön. The harbour area also hosts Hamnpaviljongen, offering a café and ice cream bar during summer.

Beyond Matvik lies the Hällaryd archipelago, with around fifty islands and just as many islets - an ideal starting point for exploring this beautiful part of the Blekinge archipelago. It's about 2.5 km to the nearest beach and 4 km to the nearest shop.
