About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedvia web search · 28 September 2026Bråstadvika Båthavn is a small marina on Lake Mjøsa in Bråstadvika, just north of Gjøvik in Innlandet county, Norway. The marina is run by Gjøvik Båtsenter and opened in the summer of 2003. The harbour basin is regulated for between 180 and 200 berths depending on boat size, and today there is access to 65 berths, most of which have y-shaped mooring booms.
The entire harbour area has been dredged to a depth of 3 metres measured from normal water level. The marina is built with both fixed concrete piers and wooden piers, plus an additional pier with concrete jetties accessed from the south.
All berths have electricity with individual meters as well as municipal water. In the surrounding area you will also find toilets and benches, plus a gravel parking area with good parking facilities.
Bråstadvika is an idyllic bathing and recreation area with a sandy beach that forms part of the Mjøspromenaden waterfront path. Gjøvik Campingsenter is the marina's closest neighbour, and Sveastranda Camping is a short distance away. Gjøvik town centre is about 4 km away, where you'll find shops along the pedestrian street, the CC shopping centre, the Skibladner pier, and cafés and restaurants. Tie up at one of the 65 berths and experience idyllic Bråstadvika on Lake Mjøsa.
