Büsumer Seglerverein e.V.

Büsumer Seglerhafen is a club-run marina on the North Sea at Büsum, sheltered in harbour basin IV right by the dike facing the Meldorfer Bucht. The modern aluminium pontoon system has room for about 100 boats, of which 80 are occupied by club members, and there are about 20 guest berths.

The harbour is reached via the Süderpiep or Norderpiep, and boats drawing up to about 2 m can enter at any time in normal weather; in strong easterly winds it can get shallow at low water, and the bottom is soft. The harbour monitors VHF channel 11 ("Büsum Port"), including when passing through. Maximum boat length at the guest pontoon's finger berth is 36 feet (about 11 m); larger boats should arrange mooring with the harbourmaster. The guest fee starts at €2.00 per metre (rounded up) per day plus a €1.00 service charge per person (children under 12 free); a 5 m boat costs from €10.00 per day. Boats with extra beam (catamarans, trimarans) pay a 50% surcharge. Berths can be booked online via 24Port.

The marina offers shore power and water at the pontoons, showers and toilets in the clubhouse, a washing machine and dryer (€3.00 per use, arranged with the harbourmaster), waste containers at the entrance, bicycles available for use, a barbecue area at the entrance, and parking opposite the clubhouse.
