About the harbour
Automatically summarised text: Automatically summarisedfrom the harbour's website · 28 September 2026Meldorfer Seglerverein runs a marina in Meldorf, where visiting sailors are always welcome.
As a guest you simply moor at a free berth for a single overnight stay; for longer stays the harbourmaster assigns a berth, and mooring fees are paid to him at Westcoast Sails on Hafenstraße, right by the entrance to the harbour area. A key to the clubhouse, which houses the sanitary facilities, and to the gate at the pontoon, is available against a deposit from the harbourmaster; a key safe at the gate also holds an emergency key, with the code available from the key warden.
The clubhouse houses the sanitary facilities. At Westcoast Sails, by the "lighthouse" on the lock gate, you can get coffee specialities and cold drinks. Turning right onto Hafenstraße and continuing to the dyke, you'll find "Ding am Deich" behind a large car park. Walking around the harbour basin, behind the lock and sluice, in front of the motorhome site, you'll find "Stulle & Pulle" – both places offer generous meals of good quality along with matching drinks. Right by the harbour entrance, the sailmaker Westcoast Sails runs a well-stocked chandlery with fittings, shackles, rope, tools, paint and more.
Moor at a free berth and take the short walk to Westcoast Sails for coffee and chandlery supplies, or round the harbour basin to Stulle & Pulle for a good meal.
