Camping jachthaven De Domp

Camping en Jachthaven De Domp is a city marina with an adjoining campsite in Sneek, Friesland, beautifully situated on the Oudvaart with an open connection to the Sneekermeer, the Middelseeroute towards Leeuwarden, and the Heegermeer. The marina consists of two locations – Domp 1 with guest berths, boat sheds and the campsite, and Domp 2 with mainly permanent berths and a slipway – separated by the Oudvaart.

As a visiting sailor you can moor at Domp 1; advance booking of a guest berth is not possible, but there is almost always space available if you don't arrive too late. Report to the harbourmaster or reception and you will be assigned an available berth. The marina lies quiet and green, sheltered from the wind by large trees, and is open all year round.

On site you'll find a modern, underfloor-heated toilet and shower building along with drinking water and electricity at the berths. A washing machine and dryer are available, along with free wifi, and a municipal pump-out station on the Houkesloot which marina guests are permitted to use. Restaurant De Kajuit is located at the harbour with a terrace overlooking the water, and there is a playground plus bicycle rental from reception. Domp 2 has a slipway.

Sneek's inviting historic town centre is about a 10-minute walk away, along with an indoor swimming pool and several supermarkets. Right next to the campsite lies a park, perfect for a stroll.
